The Government of Malawi (GoM) will be establishing a new national bus company to provide public passenger services nationally. It is the intention of the GoM that this new national bus company is established via Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, where the Government will team up with local Malawian investors in setting up the operations and management of the new company.
Revised Divestiture Sequence Plan (DSP)
The Privatisation Commission submitted to Cabinet, as required by the Act, a revised divestiture sequence plan (DSP). The PC is therefore implementing privatisation of SOEs as directed by Cabinet from time to time. Please look out on this site for latest developments.
